Because computer monitor is for your computer, TV is for your TV room.
Um.. is this rhetorical?
Because a monitor has less radiation than a standard T.V, and they are better at handling HI-Def signals,or so I’m told.
Well because most tv don’t had the resolution and is too bright for your in close distance, unless you buying a 1080p 32″ tv your game solution isn’t great, 30″ monitor cost way more than tv because not many made monitor that big. Why you need that big of monitor unless you doing some serious graphic work i don’t people need more than 24″ in most case for monitor.
Yes, there is a difference.
The computer monitor has higher performance ratings like refresh rate. They have a lot more pixels per inch. Because of this, they also look better at a closer distance. TVs are manufactured to adequately display TV signals, computer monitors are manufactured to maximize performance from computer graphics.
Hi Def Tv’s typically don’t offer resolutions above 1024×768. even the most basic LCD monitors these days will quadruple that
Computer monitor has different features than the TV monitor…After visiting here- http://www.acnt.com/_e/dept/16-012/showpages.asp?pid=1154 you will get the idea about the computer monitor..
I own both a big-screen 52″ LCD HDTV and a 30″ monitor.
My 30-inch monitor goes up to 2560×1600 resolution.
The LCD HDTV, as good as it is, is 1080p– That’s 1920×1080 resolution.
The 30-inch monitor gives you bigger GUI-desktop real estate compared to a TV of any size.
