Should I get two 20″ Dells or one 30″ Dell monitor?

I'm having trouble deciding if I should get a dual monitor setup for audio recording/mixing in Cubase, or should I just get the 30". I'd like to watch movies on the monitor however I want to maximize productivity.

Hello
Theres the obvious difference of 400-500 pounds in the price firstly to take into consideration, I faced the same dilemma a while back and went with 2 x 24 inch monitors, at a total of 400 pounds, Whilst the 30 inch dell was 1000 pounds.
I then went out and with the extra money I had left over, Spent it on a 32 inch Widescreen Samsung
So I got the excellent productivity dual screens on my dual screens and a 30 inch television, at the same cost as the single 30 inch dell would have cost me.
In my experience round my friends, the dell 30 inch isnt very good, at least in gaming terms, very few games support it, and to run at that resolution requires a very good graphics card.
Its all personal preference, But i certainly feel as the 2 minitor and a seperate television, is the best use of your cash
depend what you need it for, if like multitasking then go with the 2X20″ if is for gaming, media, or watching tv then go with the 30″
it takes alot of graphic power to power up those monitors, so might thing for SLi or CrossFire.
