I had attempted Tri-SLI with my 285s, however with the Corsair 800D there is just not enough airflow to support an air-cooled tri-sli setup. I've decided to do a couple of things to upgrade my system as well. IMPORTANT: Just be careful with the ECP ribbon-cutting as it voids the warranty. Thats too bad about the heat issue. I LOVE that case but want to do an air cooled rig next. Probably will go with the new Lian Li tower A77F.

Hi, like the setup. That bottom fan you added or did the case have hole for it or did you have to make them and if the holes were there, are they for 140 or 120
what would happen if you flipped the fans
on top to push the air in ,creating a positive pressure inside.and having all the air exit at the back.. could someone try that id love to see if it would work for aircooling
why don’t you get water block for those video cards it will be much better performance. coz thats what im doing with my case and i have the corsair 800D
Feser One UV Red. It’s red tubing as well so doesn’t make too much difference.
What liquid coolant are you using?
Nice… I like the dual-red cathodes a lot better than what you had in your previous video.
Also, I don’t know if you care, but the fan isn’t “kayz”… It’s pronounced more like “kah-zeh”, which is the Japanese word for “wind.” If you look at the word “Kamikaze”, “Kami” means “god” or “divine”, so that would translate into something like “God’s Wind”… badass. =)

Thinking about the H50 with reversed rear fan (push-pull ofc) for extra cooling and if its inusfficient I can always put a fan in place of 3 front drivebays I guess =)
Hope they release an improved version2 though before I start building end of January.
If I were to go Team Red, I’d probably get two 5970s. They’d stay cool just fine, and there’s plenty of room in the 800D to accommodate the extra 2″ in length
Do you reckon a dual 5870 gfx card setup would be possible to aircool in this case or would that be having heat issues as well?
DUDE! I thought I was going crazy, but I totally agree with you about the vista thing! like the past couple weeks, ive just been crashing a lot lately. Games will just crash to desktop and other bogus like that.. my brother just ordered 7, Im going to order it next week cause I just ordered my core i7 920 haha. love the vids, keep ‘em coming

that sucks about the sli… pretty good price, in canada that card is about $400 lol, i agree with u about the intake fan, think they made a little bit of a mistake with that, all well great vid !

Almost any card overclock now with Nvidia’s drivers crashes Vantage and 06.
Clean install, as I have some nice things coming to put 7 on

I am also having a driver issue in vista 64. It was fine. Maybe it’s just Nvidia’s driver. Are you gonna upgrade or clean install 7 ?
