To try and add some efficiency to my setup, I am making some alterations to my watercooling loop. This hopefully will improve airflow and take out some unneeded hose length. I invite you to check out my newly created website, and subscribe to the forums!!! www.sirjamesd.com

Hi James
i would love to know what is the water cooling you use. is it a complete package or you bought each part individually.please try to describe it part by part if you could. I’m 800d case and i will get a water cooling for it similar to yours except i might add motherboard chipset water cooling block and the new thermal water cooling for ocz dominator. and since you are more expert i need your advice if this same setup will serve the needed or i have to add something else.
Just a few questions:
So as of now, i have the NZXT Tempest and it is to small for watercooling and the reservoir i would like to get. i plan on getting the Corsair 800D case.
What kind of pump would you recommend?
What kind of Cpu block would you recommend?
and do you know if there is a GPU block for the GeForce 9600 GSO because i have searched quite a few places, and no luck..
thanks
-Donald
@SirJamesDDJ Ok, but what if you turn the fans on the radiator and make them intake fans and remove the one at the bottom + you make the back fan a out take again. Wouldn’t that work betther than just have 2 intake fan and and 3 out take fans?
@TechnoGuru27 If the holes were a few inches more apart I would have. But looking at the way my intake/outtake is set up, not worth the potential restriction.
Why diden’t you mount the pump on the bottom of your case? (with the psu)
L33t set-up, love your vids they are great and you know your stuff!
Thanks. I’m shooting a first half of one tonight. Won’t be able to do the second half til Monday.
You’ll find out why when the video is posted.
@SirJamesDDJ well then you know the full results were published after the leak…..im suprised you even brought that up. Im not trying to argue with you..What you believe is your biz not mine…just wanted to throw out a little info…the people who you think are denying climate change are not…they are simply stating that the change is not due to us. Anyway forget i said anything and make a video already i never get tired of your setup changes
University of East Anglia leaked emails, the Himalays “disappearing” hoax, bud. The whole thing is a political farce backed by made up science.
first off i love your vids, so please dont ban me or what ever. Having said that, your lack of how global warming works puzzles me. Your a smart guy(your ability with computers is crazy good)yet you think that cold winters disprove global warming. Extreme temp. change FURTHER proves our atmosphere is under stress. the dark side of mercury gets cold(-160c) yet the sun side reaches 430C..same principal here…our winters are colder and the summers are hotter..sorry for the speech but i had too.
Nope never.
I don’t wanna have to add another rad, res, plus their own blocks.
Do you plan to watercool the video cards? Nice setup by the way.
red..blue and green cathodes= rainbow!
Or you could be like me, a moron, and charge it so that it takes a hella long time to pay off
god i hate you so much:P
you have the dream pc.
i cant wait until i pull enough cash to do all the stuff i wanna do!
Just finish building a Intel i5 750 High-End Gaming PC, you can check it out on my youtube page.
The EVGA forums are terrific. Very knowledgeable people!
And right here on YouTube there’s great tutorials on the loop and such.
I’ll message you a few links.
Hey can you recommend a good resource to learn more about water cooling. I’m interested in the new Lian Li A77f but Im lost as to how you would mount the radiator and how the exhaust fans play into that ect ect…
Performance PCs. Although now I see they are using a Bitspower housing, which isn’t as good IMO
where did u get that pump from?
Nope, there is a shroud, and then the fans. No fans between the top of the case and the rad
the system looks great, i keep watching the video every once in a while haha, one quick question, are u doing push/pull on the rad? cant wait to see future videos
@SirJamesDDJ thnx a lot i think i will go with the haf 932 AMD Edition (only for the window)
The Cooler Master HAF 932 is a very good one. Also, the Antec 1200.
Ur rig kick ass man… 5/5, now the question, i want to upgrate my case and after a while the vga card (possibly i am going to buy 5870) and i am looking for a case like urs, but it is very expensive dude XD. So could u plz suggest me one like urs but more cheaper???
thnx,
