30″ monitor + 24″ monitor?

Hi there, i currently have the dell 2405 and love it but i wanted to add a 30" monitor to my setup (im crazy like that). i was gonna run the 24" in portrait mode for websites/word docs/etc.
anyways, my main question is how can i run these two?? I know the 30" (dell's 3007) needs a dual link card (which i have). So does that mean i need a separate vid card for the 2405? I guess since i won't be running any 3d apps i can use any old cheap, pci/pci express vid card.
did i just answer my own question...? =)

You can buy a couple expensive pci express cards, you’ll need two video outputs. Run dual cards, id your monitors and extend your desktop in Display properties. So you kind of did answer your own question.
Since almost all video cards have two outputs thesedays
(two DVIs, or one DVI & one D-sub)
your video card is already dual monitor capable, i guess.
Or you don’t want use a D-sub input of Dell 2405?
If so, you have two choices.
1. If your motherboard support dual video cards (like SLI or Crossfire), you can buy another pci express card.
2. If not, your choice will be old PCI card.
See http://www.guipedia.net/guidewiki/Hybrid for your dual monitor setting information.
